5. Vocalist

(2) Imitate the 5 Bebop/Swing fragments
(3) Chosen Jazz Standard, Perform this standard including the Theme, Improvisation (2 choruses at least), Theme (you can perform this with a live jazz band or play-along accompaniment)
(4) Spoken Self-Introduction in English
(5) Please prepare five copies of lead sheets of your chosen jazz standard and bring them to Live Audition
6. Basic jazz group – For teachers or students of classic music interested in jazz music but haven’t had jazz music playing experience or the musicians lack of formal music training

(2) Chosen repertoire (no style restriction) for Instrumentalists and Vocalists

(2) One of the 28 advanced jazz standards A or one of the 32 advanced jazz standards B including the Theme, Improvisation (2 choruses at least), Theme (perform with a live jazz band)
(3) Quiz from what TISJA have taught
(4) Modern jazz, latin, funk, fusion or world music styles (will be announced in the TIJEPA jazz forum)
(5) The former students who want to join advanced lessons should prepare (1)-(4)
(6) The former students who don’t want to join advanced lessons should prepare the same subjects as the first-timer to TISJA
