For Musicians NOT residing in Taiwan:
You should include the following in your CD or DVD of your recorded audition materials:
1. Instrumentalists
a. Major Scales & Diatonic Arpeggios (7th Chords) Ascending & Descending in C , F , Bb , Eb , G , D , A concert keys
b. 1 Jazz Standard of your choice including the Theme, Improvisation
(2 choruses at least), Theme (you can perform this with a live jazz band or play-along accompaniment)
(Not necessary for basic group applicants)
c. Spoken Self-Introduction in English
2. Drummers and Percussionists
a. Technique Demonstration, Etude or Solo on the Drum Set/ Percussions (Jazz style preferable)
b. 1 Jazz Standard of your choice including the Theme, Improvisation
(2 choruses at least), Theme (you can perform this with a live jazz band or play-along accompaniment)
(Not necessary for basic group applicants)
c. Spoken Self-Introduction in English
3. Vocalist
a. Imitate the 5 Bebop/Swing fragments
b. 1 Chosen Jazz Standard, Perform this standard including the Theme, Improvisation (2 choruses at least), Theme (you can perform this with a live jazz band or play-along accompaniment)

c. Spoken Self-Introduction in English
