2005年，為助益本地爵士樂活動之推展，台北市國際爵士樂教育推廣協會（Taipei International Jazz Education & Promotion Association）正式成立，以非營利機構之模式主辦籌劃爵士樂年度暨常態相關活動。本會成立宗旨如下︰

一、致力本地爵士樂教育，提供專業而常態之講座活動。
二、推廣國際爵士樂交流，與全世界爵士樂壇維持良好關係。
三、不定期舉辦針對各階層之爵士音樂演奏會，並邀請國外傑出音樂家訪台。
四、每年暑期舉辦國際爵士教育交流活動，創造高水準學習環境。
五、提供有心學子專業學習諮詢及生涯規劃協助。
六、與歐美日等專業爵士教育機構如音樂院、大學、學院、中學、常設組織等同步良性互動。

　　The Taipei International Jazz Education & Promotion Association (TIJEPA) is a non-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting jazz & relevant music education in Taiwan. Founded in 2005 by local jazz lovers and senior members of Taipei International Summer Jazz Academy, the Association strives to promote international awareness and appreciation of jazz music and talent with ongoing events and activities reaching a wide demographic audience. By partnering with The TIJEPA, sponsors and supporters have the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to the art and cultural education in Taiwan. The TIJEPA is willing to meet with corporations and organizations who are interested in supporting and sponsoring these activities and to discuss on possibilities in forming long term strategic partnerships with us.
